Join Sarah Williams and Anna Sugarman on this restful and rejuvenating retreat minutes from the beach in Seaford. This stunning 1920s property is set within six acres of land on Seaford Head and has its own pathway leading directly into the Seven Sisters Country Park. Easily accessible from London and Brighton, the exquisite setting of Florence House provides the perfect backdrop for a weekend of movement, meditation, breath work, self-inquiry, and community.

Providing comfortable accommodation for up to 24 your home for the weekend provides ample accommodation for single travelers as well as those who wish to share a room. With stunning gardens, coastal views, a yurt with a wood-burning stove, a spacious yoga room, and delicious local food, expect to be immersed in the surroundings as you spend the weekend in this nurturing environment, ready to immerse yourself in the experience of yoga.

This amazing environment offers beautiful surroundings and a sanctuary to truly unwind. There will be a range of yoga classes for all levels of students throughout the weekend and you may do as many or as little as you like.

Schedule

FRIDAY – 

  • Arrival from 5pm

  • Gentle evening yoga practice

SATURDAY – 

  • Dynamic morning yoga practice suitable for all levels.

  • Coastal walk in the Seven Sisters Country Park or enjoy the beautiful walled gardens and take quiet time for self-reflection.

  • An optional afternoon experiential yoga lecture.

  • Evening yoga will be a nurturing and interoceptive practice of somatic movement, yin, and restorative yoga.

SUNDAY – 

  • An extended dynamic and invigorating morning practice will lead you into a yoga nidra practice preparing you to soak up the rest of the day before departure

  • Plenty of free time to enjoy the surroundings, a massage or walking in Seaford Head.

  • Departure by 3pm

Massages are available to book at an additional cost.

The Yoga Practice

The practices that make up the heart of this weekend are suitable for all levels and you are encouraged to always take the upmost care of yourself. If you have questions about the practices please get in touch with Sarah to make sure this is the right retreat for you!

Expect to move and breath with self-inquiry at the foundation of every practice. Through many years of practice and teaching Anna and Sarah bring a lighthearted and playful approach to the practice which encourages you to be the author of your own experience within a kind, community setting.

Food

A delicious and nourishing vegetarian menu will be provided throughout the weekend and dietary needs can be catered for. Meals will be provided throughout the day and fruit and tea will be available for you to have at your leisure.

Where possible food is organic and locally sourced and the menu often includes produce grown onsite.


Accomodation

There are a wide variety of accommodation options at Florence House. Whether you would like to share a twin or triple room with others or have your own room there are plenty of options. Please contact Sarah if you have a special accommodation request.

Most rooms have shared bathroom facilities but there are a small number of en-suite options available. All rooms are comfortable and cosy offering views of the South Downs or the Coast.
