WEEKEND YOGA WORKSHOPS
Anna Sugarman and Sarah Williams present a weekend of workshops for yoga students and teachers ready to deepen their practice, connect in community, and explore new teachings.
Each day can be attended separately at £79 or book the whole weekend for £145.
Flow and Restore
Saturday 24th October | 9-4pm (Lunch 12.30-1.30pm)
This day-long mini retreat is an opportunity to dive deep into yoga. We feel extraordinarily passionate about the power of these practices combined — energy shifted through movement, equilibrium honed through stillness.
Expect a dynamic morning practice led by Anna, inspired by traditional asana and drawing on her wealth of experience teaching creative flows that sync breath and movement, body and mind. The afternoon opens with a self-massage workshop targeting fascia and the nervous system, before closing with a restorative session that teaches the body and mind the importance of support. Gentle on the body, challenging on the monkey mind — rest practice can often teach us more about self-inquiry and meditation than traditional sitting practice.
The Yoga Lab
sunday 25th October | 9-4pm (Lunch 12.30-1.30pm)
A day of inquiry — into the body in the morning, into the mind and tradition in the afternoon. Come to investigate, question and experiment, not to perform.
The morning is a Body Lab: a short practice followed by guided self-inquiry into how your body actually moves, not how it's "supposed to." You'll notice habitual patterns, test variations, and discover what shifts when familiar movement is approached with curiosity instead of correction.
The afternoon turns to philosophy. After a gentle practice, we will move into an interactive, discussion-led session. We'll reflect on key texts to explore how to bring the tradition into our lives with a live inquiry in the spirit of yoga's oldest teaching relationships.
This is a workshop for teachers looking to deepen their own practice and bring fresh tools of inquiry into their teaching, and for students curious to explore yoga's body and philosophy with more depth than a regular class allows.
This weekend of practices is open to all ~ Come as you are.
