A WEEK AT TIGMI
Yoga, sunshine, good food & time to yourself
12–19 June 2027
£1,195 shared / £1,595 single
Join Sarah for this luxurious retreat off the beaten track set just a short ride from Marrakesh. Expect a week of rest and rejuvenation to take you back to your centre. This will be the fifth retreat Sarah has facilitated yoga retreats at Tigmi, and there is good reason…
It isn't the kind of place you simply visit. Within a day or two, you begin to settle into its rhythm. Breakfast stretches out. Afternoons disappear beside the pool. Walks with spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains, and yoga practices accompanied by birdsong and the call to prayer.

THE PLACE
Tigmi is a small, beautifully designed retreat centre set in the Moroccan countryside, surrounded by olive groves and with views towards the Atlas Mountains.
It's peaceful without being remote, and there is plenty of space to spend your time between classes. There are two pools, terraces and gardens, as well as an onsite hammam and spa.
THE YOGA
There will be two extended yoga practices each day, offering plenty of time to explore both movement and rest.
Morning practices will be dynamic and movement-focused, with time to explore postures in detail. They will be physically engaging but accessible to all levels.
Afternoon practices will be slower and more restorative, incorporating somatic movement, restorative postures and yoga nidra. These sessions offer a chance to shift gear, pay attention to how you are feeling and settle into deeper rest.
Practices will take place in Tigmi's beautiful indoor shala or on the rooftop, depending on the weather.
THE FOOD
Food is a big part of the Tigmi experience. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, eggs and, of course, the famous Moroccan pancakes — expect to go back for seconds.
Lunch is a relaxed buffet of fresh salads and Moroccan dishes, while dinner is a three-course meal enjoyed together, either on the terrace or in the dining room.
There will be plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, alongside fish and meat dishes inspired by the local cuisine.
BEYOND TIGMI
There is plenty to explore if you want to venture out. You can spend an afternoon in Marrakech, visit the Atlas Mountains, explore the souks or arrange a horse-riding trip.
But there is absolutely no expectation to fill your time.
Tigmi is somewhere you can happily spend the day between the pools, reading, walking, chatting or doing very little at all.
There will be an optional trip into Marrakesh mid-week should you wish to soak up the souks or visit the Jardin Majorelle
community
Sarah has brought four groups of people to Tigmi before. Some came alone. Some came with friends. Many arrived not knowing anyone. And every time, something happens in this place: a group becomes a little community.
